My notepad drips of surreal realities
not quite understood.
Poetry seeps, the shadows are deep-
but they are plenty, and they are heavy.
And they are light, and they are obstacles.
And they are might.
And they are strong, when I am weak.
And they will yield, when the mighty do speak.
And they will heal, as all wounded will.
And they will feel, from the valleys to the hills.
And some will fall, while others rise.
And some wont call, don't be surprised.
And some will show up, when you least expect.
Expect the Unexpected, Protect ya Neck.
Tomorrows a dream, yesterday a hint.
And back in the loop, to run or to sprint.
And all the while, imagining a choice,
And all the smiles, like it was ever really your voice.
For fate sews tails, that do ring true.
Follow the scent, they bring you back, to you.
A cosmic joke and you are the butt,
but also the face, if it isn't too much.
The webs been weaved, are you inspired?
Are you the fly, or are you the Spider?
Closing motif No. 01 — the Yoga Spider:
stillness in the web; fate, patience, and self-possession.
